The best adventures start off when your best friend calls you and tells you they’re outside your gate and you don’t know what for.
So I’ve always had an obsession with ice cream but lately, it’s grown more which unfortunately means that I have also had to go on multiple diets and exercise more in order to keep my weight stable.
With the growing popularity of Paul’s Homemade Ice-Cream and its delicious flavors, it becomes harder and harder to not go to the gym and just eat it all (i mean of course I won’t because I will get sick, unhealthy and die – which means no more ice cream if I die). Living in my neighborhood has proved to be beneficial – not only does it mean that I’m in a central area where everything is not too far away from me BUT it does ALSO mean I’m less than 1 minute away from Ice Cream Sunday – THIS IS THE PART WHERE IT GETS SUPER EXCITING.
Paul’s Homemade Ice Cream and Prepped by Sascha collaborate to make food and ice cream that one would never think of and will leave your eyes as big as Tom when his tale gets trapped in the mouse trap. The mood is set with live music and good friends whose company is a standard 5/7 (Molecular bartender’s banter). Spending the day with special people always makes this experience even moe exciting than going in alone (not to say that there’s anything wrong with being alone).
The theme this month was Halloween and this month did not have your average flavor or look to it. Some were black, other were decorated with ‘blood’ and a monster color green. If you’re a lover of ice-cream (if not then you’re probably in denial because you’re still reading this post). Ice Cream Sunday, caters for those who don’t even feel like eating ice cream and just want to have a good lunch (limited to about one or two options because the main event is ice cream)
So if you’re in the mood for something chilled and want to cool down (JHB high off 34 degrees today- hot damn!) then head off to get some ice and stay cool for the summer.
